Spark & Wow Tradeshow Banner
For this project, I designed a large-format banner for a tradeshow event where our company was showcasing Spark & Wow, a vibrant line of children’s toys. The primary goal was to support product sales to dealers by highlighting the brand in a way that complemented, rather than competed with, the toys on display. My approach focused on clean, eye-catching design elements that reinforced the brand’s playful identity while maintaining visual balance to ensure the physical products remained the focal point.

Design Process:
Due to the quick turnaround for this project, I began by immediately mapping out product placements on the banner. My first concept included images of children appearing to “interact” with the toys, creating a playful, immersive scene. However, I soon realized this approach left very little margin for error, especially with the banner being printed on fabric, where alignment and scale can be tricky. I also received feedback on the background pattern, which initially felt too detailed. Based on that input, I adjusted the design to feature a bolder, more abstract pattern that better aligned with the Spark & Wow brand aesthetic.
First Iteration
In the next set of iterations, I explored more abstract background patterns to better reflect the playful, energetic tone of the Spark & Wow brand. I ultimately developed a background that abstractly echoed the shapes and style of the Spark & Wow logo, helping to subtly reinforce brand identity. After several rounds of refinement and feedback, I arrived at the final design that balanced visual impact with practical considerations for printing and product placement.
